WDC Hardware Partner Program

Put Your Hardware to Work with Field Command.

WDC evaluates drones, sensors, cameras, connectivity and field equipment in real operating environments. Selected partners receive structured engineering feedback and a path toward documented Field Command compatibility.

Current evaluation priorities

Hardware we are evaluating now.

The first campaign focuses on systems that can create reliable, repeatable evidence across real rural and property workflows.

A solar-powered agricultural weather station and field sensor installed beside crops and water.

Track 02

Ground sensing and field infrastructure

Connected equipment that creates a continuous baseline for comparison with drone observations and property history.

  • Agricultural weather and soil sensing
  • Water-level and environmental monitoring
  • Scheduled-capture outdoor cameras
  • LoRaWAN, cellular and satellite connectivity
  • RTK/GNSS and repeatable positioning
  • Equipment, building and power monitoring
  • Field robotics and connected machinery

All-weather means documented operating boundaries. WDC evaluates the dock and aircraft separately. A protected enclosure does not imply that the aircraft may safely launch, fly or land in every condition.

What WDC requests

Enough access to test the complete workflow.

  • 60- to 90-day evaluation or demonstration equipment
  • Required accessories and correct deployment guidance
  • API, SDK, webhook or documented export access
  • Technical documentation and sample data
  • A qualified engineering or product contact
  • Clear shipping, support, data and return terms

What WDC provides

A credible rural validation environment.

  • 75 acres with approximately 40 tillable acres
  • Crop, driveway, drainage and pond scenarios
  • Building, tree, power-line and silo environments
  • Storm and seasonal-change inspections
  • Structured integration and workflow findings
  • Directory, demonstration or referral consideration after validation

Evaluation process

Clear gates from first discussion to recommendation.

Each stage protects both parties and keeps public claims tied to evidence.

  1. 01

    Fit review

Confirm the technology addresses a defined Field Command use case and has a viable data path.

  2. 02

    Evaluation plan

Define equipment, scenarios, success criteria, responsibilities, limitations and evidence.

  3. 03

    Field validation

Test only the approved configuration and distinguish observed results from manufacturer claims.

  4. 04

    WDC decision

Assign, limit or decline partner status and approve any public compatibility statement.

Partner levels

Status must be earned and scoped.

Validation applies only to the hardware, configuration, software, firmware and workflows identified in the evaluation record.

01

Evaluation Partner

Compatibility testing is underway. No recommendation is implied.

02

Validated Hardware Partner

Defined Field Command workflows have passed documented compatibility testing.

03

Recommended Hardware Partner

Strong performance has been demonstrated for specifically identified use cases.

04

Strategic Integration Partner

An active technical or commercial relationship is governed by a separate agreement.

Independent by design

Technical findings cannot be purchased.

WDC remains free to support competing manufacturers. Equipment, discounts, sponsorships and commissions do not guarantee a favorable result and will be disclosed where appropriate.

Evidence

Manufacturer claims, WDC-observed results, inferred capabilities, unverified capabilities and known limitations remain distinct.

Intellectual property

Each party retains its existing intellectual property. Joint development requires a separate written agreement.

Publication

Names, marks, findings and compatibility statements require the appropriate approval before publication.

Exclusivity

No exclusivity is accepted without specific WDC business review and written approval.

Partnership inquiry

Tell us what you want to evaluate.

Provide enough information for an initial fit review. Submitting an inquiry does not create a partnership or evaluation commitment.
